One Small Favor…

I was recently informed that I am being laid off from my position at Apple. It was unexpected, especially coming right after WWDC, where several of the projects I led and features I contributed to were announced.

I’m incredibly proud of what I helped ship, but more importantly, I’m grateful for the people I had the opportunity to work alongside. I’ve met some of the kindest, smartest, and most inspiring people of my career here, and I’m leaving with friendships and relationships that I know will last a lifetime.

My resume tells the professional story, but it‘s hard to convey how much I value building a supportive and motivated group of people around me. If you know a team that could use a leader skilled at turning ideas into shipped products, I’d love to hear from you.

On A Personal Note

I moved to California with the goal of eventually working at Apple. Coincidentally 10 years to the day of moving here I was laid off. Needless to say, it’s been a sentimental time for me; I was going through some photos and found this seemingly relatable one I took September 1, 2023.
