A Career Update

I was recently informed that I am being laid oﬀ from my position at Apple. It was unexpected, especially coming right after WWDC, where several of the projects I led and features I contributed to were announced.

I’m incredibly proud of what I helped ship, but more importantly, I’m grateful for the people I had the opportunity to work alongside. I’ve met some of the kindest, smartest, and most inspiring people of my career here, and I’m leaving with friendships and relationships that I know will last a lifetime.

This is a test of the outdoor warning system… If you’ve ever lived in San Francisco before 2020 you might remember this ominous test warning announcement that occurred every Tuesday at high-noon. Much like that benign warning that became a part of San Franciscan life, this blog is here to become a part of mine: where I can share thoughts, ideas, recipes, and whatever else that comes to mind.

Please don‘t take this as a formal publication, nor a source of truth. I do my best to honor facts, but ultimately this serves as a location for my thoughts; spanning from careful explanations with citations to fun anecdotes I feel like sharing.
